International Students Bible

Course Description:

This course is a Bible introduction specifically designed for international students with limited capacity in understanding and using the English language. The text used is a Bible that is especially designed for students who are developing English as a second language. Passages have been rephrased to simplify the vocabulary while retaining the original meanings.

The class is taught by teachers with a background in teaching English as a Second Language and some emphasis is placed on students exercising English reading, writing and speaking skills.

The material covered throughout the one year course provides students with a basic understanding of the Bible, the foundational text of Christianity and much of western civilization.

Texts:

The New Life Version Bible
